Versys Arrival

March 31, 2015: Well, the 2015 Versys 1000 LT has arrived. Without a hitch? No. We do have an unfortunate issue with one of the side cases that needs to get fixed but nothing to keep me out of the saddle.

So, I first brought it home to give it a real good once over, double check fluids, check for loose bolts etc. Then I proceeded to take it out on an 85 mile loop that I often ride. It was extremely comfortable on this first ride, feeling like a bike you could really log some miles on. The engine runs and shifts extremely smoothly, although for now I'm keeping within the manufacturer's run in guidelines (<4K rpm for the first 500m).

This was just a "getting acquainted" ride. More details to follow ...
